It opens at 10 a.m. on Sundays , not sure about the closing hours. I guess, it's 6 p.m.
Yes there are organic baked goods including cakes there
As per Lex with additional note of fresh ingredients and no preservatives
Yes they do
I got a cake here for a baby shower and it was a great experience. Stephanie answered all my questions and Janet did a beautiful job on the cake. I would highly recommend Phipps Bakery Cafe.
Good food but very expensive.
Lovely shop with delicious baked options
This is place is great. The food and service are top notch!
Great spot for home made pies and fresh soup! Much more to choose from! Definitely check it out.
Ordered my Dad's 95th birthday cake. Said it had to be perfectly chocolate. It was so great. Staff were very helpful in helping me get it safely to my car.
Great bakery. Ordered a cake for my sisters birthday and it came out really well and was enjoyed by everyone. Will definitely be ordering more from here in the future!
Terrible customer service! Didn''t give the correct order even though i repeated twice. They were nonchalant about it when i mentioned to them. Their baked goods are stale and not worth the trip. But to each their own.
Best patisserie on Eglinton west Village. Must try their apple tart. Yummy.
Tiny cute little bakery. The baked goods are fantastic and made fresh daily. The store also offers many "made yesterday" options for a discounted price. If you have the chance to go around lunch hour there is an fantastic array of warm lunch options (the quiche and lasagna were so good we considered buying a whole one, but it was too much for two people). There is parking on the street, but a green p just around the corner for convenience.
A bit heavy and for my taste
cute place. great food. not alot of space to move around.
Cake was just OK, had to wait a little. Server was excellent!
Awesome!!! Butter tarts are spot on. We are still making are way through all these delicious pastries. Everything is a hit.
Bought the chocolate peanut butter cake from here last week. Tasted amazing and the price was surprisingly very good for what you get (in terms of the finish, quality, and taste). Definitely will be making a return visit.
The smell ! That's advertisement enough! Freshly baked bread and other delicacies will drawn you in. I was quite surprised to find hot food as well and those are good too. I tried the Quiche and a mixed vegetables. Beautiful decor. Cards and some party accessories are also sold. They are allowing 3 people at a time. Please wear a mask.
Got a vanilla cake a few months ago. It was good. I wouldn't get it again though, it personally wasn't my favourite. it was nice and dense though, which I like. It tasted slightly like cornbread. The store is a little tiny, but it is aesthetically pleasing.
I cant highly recommend this place enough!! form their cheesy baked bread on a Saturdays to their naked wedding cakes, AMAZING!! great staff and jen is simply a wonder woman :)
Cute bakery. They have cakes and muffins, soups, quiche and even mac and cheese. Did an order online. Got an email back and went to pick up. Parked in the lot behind the Starbucks. Took cake 30mins out before serving. Rich dense chocolate, really nice buttercream icing.
Top quality (and top price), for special occasions. The cakes never disappoint. Easy online ordering. Friendly staff.
I could eat all their sweets. Their cookies are especially good. Of the thinner variety, they are nevertheless always chewy on the inside. Oatmeal chocolate chip, cranberry / raisin oatmeal, and double chocolate are my family's favourites.Their rugulah are also great. Sort of a mix between a strudel and croissant. Apple and raisin are both great! Also had a banana chocolate cake and it was divine.Pretty much everything is awesome! They also have a hot food section - everything is great there also!
As you walk in through the doors the smell of the baked goods and the ambience welcomes you. The selection is amazing and the staff very friendly. You should come and experience this. It’s Tea/Coffee Time!
Visited the bakery for the first time yesterday and had one of the most wonderful experience! I wasn't sure what to get, but the staff on site was super helpful - we bonded over the fact that we're both Korean, and she recommended a bread that was super tasty. I'll be back to get more very soon!
Worst service. 2 stars because the food is great. Seriously though when we make an order a week in advance for a 10 am pickup. HAVE THE FOOD READY FOR 10! This has happened not once but twice now. Asking the customer who is standing at the counter waiting to get their food what the order is so you can start to make it is unacceptable. Will not order from here again.
food it good but service is not and selection is a bit overpriced.
One the coziest coffee houses in Toronto. With the best decoration and most delicious food and cookies. The staff are kind and lovely. If you went there, don't forget to visit washroom area downstairs. It was the best and calmest style EVER!
If you're too lazy to bake yourself, this is the place to go. Even if you could bake, I guarantee this place either ties or beats it. They also offer delicious salads, sandwiches and the like. Pricey but worth it
Everything in Phipps is delicious! From the freshly baked cookies and cakes to the sandwiches and soups.. the lasagna.. the butter tarts.. you really can't go wrong. There's also a cozy area to sit and eat or have a cup of coffee in the back section.
Cons: Not so good customer servicePros: Interior design is pretty well done
Everything is yummy here! Desert Party Platers are a must!
A couple of pies were brought to the office for pie day, it was delicious. We had apple crumble and pecan butter pie. I would get both again...I recomend this spot.
One of my favourite places - smells amazing as soon as you walk in. Baked goods are ALWAYS good. Stay for lunch too , reasonably priced and a good value
I buy Blueberry or apple coffee cakes at Phipps ...to give as gifts or just for myself...the are amazing and freeze well too! There are cookies, different types of cakes, breads, etc. Also have small eat-in area, greeting cards and much more! See photos on website.
Good food... nice staff
Wow. Beautiful and charming and pleasant and...go!
Great place for lunch and tasty desserts
Phipps Bakery is one of the coziest places, and we love spending some of our Sundays in here. They definitely make you feel great with amazing service, and it gives a feeling of being home. I personally enjoy the variety of things that they have to offer ranging from coffee to greeting cards. However, everyone in our family is a huge fan of their "wicked whole wheat bread". So, if you miss home coffee, you know where to go.
Incredible pasteries. Helpful staff
Best bakery ever!!! Amazing sweets!!! Never been disappointed!!! 😋😋😋
Always delicious pastries! Get the blueberry pie, even if it's frozen.
They got my order wrong and gave me a completely different cake. But, a couple of weeks later, the manager called us back and offered us a free cake delivered to our door. It was very nice of them!
Quaint lil spot midtown on Avenue Rd. When I stepped in I really wasn't expecting much and was taken by surprise - so many wonderful options!!! And nor just baked goods, you can buy cute cards here and savoury food too. The staff here are friendly and helpful. They have biodegradable straws which I respect. I ordered a caramel butter tart which was heaven and I'll be coming back to try their other treats out soon.
Great selection of fresh food and baked goods!
Pleasant spot with a large selection of desserts - they even do whole cakes. If you want to eat in, there's a really nice seating area at the back which looks a little like a patio out of Europe
Amazing carrot cake at a reasonable price. The kids' birthday cupcakes were not kid friendly though. Very dense icing. They literally left them on their plates.
I bought a cake here for my birthday and will be doing so again. It was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Very tasty food and cute atmosphere. Cozy and relax place.
The pumpkin pie was delicious and the service was great. It's a real community feel, similar to eateries in the beaches or queen west. The bakery has so much different pastries to offer while at the same time a place to sit back and have a cup of tea. Green P parking is around the corner making it very easy to to get to. Will definitely return in the future.
Yummy, local and quaint bakery. Our favourite is the Lemon Escapade Cake! Lots of snacks and desserts offered with a small hot table in the back. You can also buy frozen pies to bake at home - smells delicious! Tip: if you are buying for a special occasion, they also have a selection of cards and candles.
This bakery is heaven for the cake lovers! Especially their well known Dad's and Mom's chocolate cakes. The taste/quality is very good. Also sometimes they have some samples on the side to try if you are unsure of what to get.The interiors and also the items you get here are fancy and unique except for one fact that never have specialty coffee drinks here. The cappuccino was so bad and also the strawberry baked good I had seemed hard/not fresh at Al (hence 3 stars) but otherwise they deserve 5. Wide variety of food they sell apart from just being a cafe.. I am yet to try anything apart from the baked goods.
